Midwest Pantry helps entrepreneurs that make & sell local food in America’s Heartland grow from start-up to scale-up by providing education, experience and mentoring utilizing four unique events we created:
1We organize two annual private Local Food & Gift Shows; one in March (spring), the other in August (fall). If you are a licensed and insured producer that makes a quality local product, a store owner or wholesale buyer that is looking for unique local products, or a local business that can support our Show and grow your business, contact us here.

Community shopping event
2We organize The Shop Small Holiday Market, held on Small Business Saturday each year (the Saturday after Thanksgiving), which is a spectacularly fun event for the public to shop and support local producers held at the Community Center in St. Anthony Village, MN.

3 The Local Poster Show, a celebration of local food and the businesses who create it through the world’s most accessible art form. Featuring limited edition posters created by MN artists to celebrate local businesses who create the food we love, and donating proceeds of poster sales to local charity Free Arts Minnesota.

4In partnership with the MN Cup, we have created the Entrepreneurs Education Series of courses aimed to help local food companies of any size establish and scale their business. Courses are held monthly at the Carlson School of Business, and include time for networking over light snacks of local food & drink.
Our next course in the Educational Series is: “Wholesale Pricing: What You Need to Know” held on Wednesday, September 23rd, 6-8pm at Carlson School of Management, Classroom 1-135. Reserve a seat in the course for $35.
