Midwest Pantry organizes Minnesota’s local food creator community.
We are Minnesota food entrepreneurs.
We help Minnesota food businesses grow smarter and faster.
Together, we are making Minnesota the #1 place to start and run a food business.
Individual Memberships start at $65 a year and include discounts to our events, including:
1We organize the annual private Local Food & Gift Show every March. If you are a licensed and insured producer that makes a quality local product, a store owner or wholesale buyer that is looking for unique local products, or a local business that can support our Show and grow your business, contact us here.
Our next wholesale event is: Midwest Pantry’s 2017 Local Food & Gift Show on Monday, March 13th, 2017 from 10:30am-4pm. Wholesale buyers can purchase tickets here, and local producers can register here.
Public shopping event
2We organize The Shop Small Holiday Market, held on Small Business Saturday each year (the Saturday after Thanksgiving). 2016 is the 4th annual event, which is spectacularly fun for the public to shop and support local producers held at the Community Center in St. Anthony Village, MN.
Our next Shop Small Market is: Saturday, November 26th, 2016. Local producers can reserve space now by registering here. We have sold out of tables every year, and as of May only half of the available tables remain so act quickly!
Free Happy Hours
3 A free, informal networking event for all of Minnesota’s vibrant food creator community. These events are held every other month a locally-owned establishment, and are completely unstructured with no topic or agenda so that food creators can simply get together to socialize and use the time together as desired. The date & time are determined by the community, so if you’d like a vote send firstname.lastname@example.org a request to get on our email list.
Our next Entrepreneurs Happy Hour is: Wednesday, June 29th, 2016, 7pm @ Republic (7 Corners, Minneapolis)
4 Midwest Pantry Meetups are lively networking events infused with a discussion topic. MeetsUps are held every other month at the Urban Growler in the Midway neighborhood of St. Paul, and are designed to be fun & informative. Heavy on networking, these events will give you something to talk about.
Each ticket covers the cost of the meeting space, speaker, and includes a free locally-brewed Urban Growler beer.
Our next Meetup is: July Meetup – Protecting your Company Brand/Trademark. Wednesday July 20th, 6-9pm at the Urban Growler. Jambor-Heyman Lawyers for Good Food will help us understand what we should and should not be worried about when it comes to trademarks and protecting your company’s brand! Get your tickets here.
